## Key facts
- Longer Kilimanjaro routes (Lemosho 7–8 days, Northern Circuit 9 days) have the highest summit success rates; the 5-day Marangu route has the lowest.
- Best safari and trekking seasons: late June to October, and January to February.
- The Great Migration moves through the Serengeti roughly October to July; river crossings usually June to September.
- Travel insurance covering medical evacuation is mandatory for all Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbs.
- Every trip is private and tailor-made unless the traveller joins a group departure on Machame or Lemosho.
