Day 1 : Arrival
The group arrives at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Participants are met by a representative of Golden Kit Tours and Safaris and transferred to a hotel in Arusha. Accommodation and overnight: kibo palace/planet lodges Meal plan: bed and break fast
Day 2 : Tarangire
In the morning after breakfast (around 7:30 AM), your safari guide from Golden Kit Tours and Safaris will arrive at the hotel and notify the receptionist of their presence. Once you've connected with your driver, you'll embark on your journey to Tarangire National Park, with your first safari experience commencing by 10:00 AM! Tarangire National Park offers an abundance of Tanzanian wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and is particularly renowned for its impressive elephant population, often found near the Tarangire River, their primary water source. While exploring this untamed wilderness, please note that our guides cannot guarantee the presence of specific animals due to the unpredictable nature of the wild. However, rest assured that they will make every effort to fulfill your safari expectations. Our team at Golden Kit Tours and Safaris operates on a dedicated radio channel, facilitating communication among guides and enhancing collaboration in locating rare species. Lunch will be provided during the midday break, after which your safari adventure will resume. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Please take note of the following guidelines and recommendations for your safety and the preservation of the natural environment: - Respect the national park visitor rules and adhere to our company's recommendations. - Exiting the vehicle during the safari is strictly prohibited, except in designated areas. Violations may result in significant fines for the company and the potential loss of our license. - Off-road driving is prohibited to avoid causing damage to the delicate ecosystem. - Smoking is permitted during the safari, but utmost care must be taken in extinguishing and disposing of cigarette butts to prevent fires in the savanna. - Please refrain from putting your feet on the safari car's seats or sitting on the back, as this behavior can quickly deteriorate the vehicles. Day 3 : Lake Manyara
Accommodation and overnight: karatu tented camp Meal plan: full board. Prepare for an early start as you wake up, enjoy breakfast, and set off for Lake Manyara with Golden Kit Tours and Safaris. This park's landscape is adorned with meandering groundwater streams, fostering lush vegetation and creating an ideal habitat for a diverse array of bird species, including the iconic pink flamingos, as well as African forest animals. Midday brings a visit to the Maji Moto hot springs, where you'll indulge in personal lunchboxes provided by your driver. Following this refreshing stop, your safari adventure resumes, and as the day draws to a close, you'll be transferred to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Day 4 : Ngorongoro
Accommodation and overnight: karatu tented camp Meal plan: full board. For an optimal wildlife viewing experience, it's advisable to depart from the hotel bright and early. Breakfast will be conveniently packed in lunchboxes, ensuring you're fueled up for the day ahead. At 6:30 AM, your journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with Golden Kit Tours and Safaris begins, and within an hour, you'll find yourself inside the crater. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, Ngorongoro stands out as one of Tanzania's most captivating national parks, boasting an impressive concentration of animal species per square kilometer. Prepare to encounter a plethora of wildlife, including buffaloes, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and elusive feline species such as caracals and servals. If luck is on your side, you may even catch a glimpse of the rapidly declining rhinoceros population. Upon reaching the lakeside around lunchtime, you'll be treated to a delicious meal from your lunchboxes before continuing your safari adventure. As the evening approaches, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha, concluding another exhilarating day of exploration and wildlife encounters.
