Booking & confirmation
A trip is confirmed once we have received your deposit and sent you a written confirmation. Until then, dates and accommodation remain subject to availability.
Payments
A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due before the trip begins. Exact amounts and deadlines are stated in your personal proposal.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the policies of the lodges and park authorities involved. Your written proposal sets out the applicable terms in full.
What is included
Each trip page lists exactly what is included and excluded. Park fees, transfers, guiding and the stated accommodation are included unless noted otherwise. International flights, visas and travel insurance are not.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our trips, and must cover medical evacuation for Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbs.
Health & safety
You must inform us of any medical condition that could affect your trip. Our guides may, in the interest of your safety, alter or end an activity — for example a summit attempt in the case of altitude sickness. Their decision is final.
Park rules
Guests must follow national park regulations and our guides' instructions at all times, including remaining in the vehicle except in designated areas, and not driving off-road.
Liability
We take great care in planning and running your trip, but we are not liable for delays or changes caused by weather, road conditions, park closures or other circumstances outside our control.
